My Gospel ABC Book
This was a fun last minute idea I did for 2008 Christmas. The idea was from Mary Jane Lane, a friend who works at Deseret Book. I did not get all the books completely finished. I ran out of time - I went to Chicago for a week right before Christmas. Anything to help children be reverent during church is helpful.

X STITCHING
These are a few of the x-stitchings I have made through the years. There are more saved for another time. I have really enjoyed making them and have given a lot of them away. When you have a few moments, enjoy the show.
Remembering Christ at Christmas
This is my slide show on the 25 days to "Remembering Christ at Christmas" booklets. Sit back and enjoy the show! Popcorn is on your own.

These are just a few of Jenny's scrap book pages that I just finished and took to her in Chicago. Special delivery.
This was a huge re-do project. At one time years ago her scrap book was all finished. Then we had a fire and the page protectors melted. So the whole book needed to be remade. I have put this project off for long enough. It was Jenny who really wanted it done. With her wedding and with her wanting to go digital on her scrapbooking it really needed to be done. I just love her digital scrapbooks!

Doily of the Month
This year has been fun creating the doily of the month. Yes I skipped a few but am catching up as we speak. I love the various patterns and colors.

I love the whiteout of a January snowstorm.

This February doily is to be put on a red velvet pillow with pearls.

Happy St. Patrick's Day in March.

April is such an awakening month. Don't you just love it?

May is such a fun month to see all the new blooms.

June fans help us stay cool in the warming days.

I feel a lot of patriotism in July.

This spooky doily is fun for October.

I count my blessings especially in November.

My Crafting Beginnings -
Hello dear friends and family,
This is such a new experience for me. Thanks to Jenny for starting this for me. I don't know if I would have done it without her.
There is so much out there to craft do and make! I have been making things since 4th grade. (that's like 1967!!!!!) I started with crocheting and quilting. My grandmother Heaton showed me how to cook starch. We then ironed the fabric on the squares so I could sew zig-zag along the edge. We did not have the financial means to just go buy what we wanted. So I learned to make what I wanted. When I was 12 I started sewing my clothes. I have since made a quilt with the fabric from those first outfits. What a riot it was showing Justin the patterns that went along with the fabric. He was so embarased for me! :) Well they were cool at the time.
I've come a long way since then and added tole painting, embroidery, x-stitching, stamping, and scrapbooking. I love each and have to rotate between them.
